The Paradigm leadership team is fully committed to partnering with parents, who are the single greatest influence in the lives of their students. We want to reinforce the spiritual values we hope and believe are taught in your home. Our desire is to equip you to be a positive spiritual example for your child.

Paradigmstudents.com is a great resource for parents who want to know what's going on in Cedar Valley Church's student ministries. Here are some things you'll find on our website:

-An option to sign up for Paradigm Weekly, a newsletter with the most up-to-date information about all things Paradigm

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

We'd like to invite you to be part of the Paradigm Student Ministries team. Below is a list of opportunities. If you think of another way you'd like to get involved, let us know! Please prayerfully consider these involvement opportunities:

Wednesday Night Sponsor (68 or 912)
A Wednesday Night Sponsor creates a safe, contained environment for students to grow closer to one another, leaders, and Christ throughout our Wednesday night program. Positions include serving in our cafe, refereeing in the Gym, hosting in the Student Center, and providing security through the Paradigm Special Forces team.

Event Sponsor
An Event Sponsor participates in Paradigm's camps and retreats and serves by counseling students, administrating projects during the event, and assisting pastoral staff.

Adult Leader (68 or 912)
An Adult Leader is responsible for guiding and leading a specific group of students to greater spiritual maturity. This is done through ministry and relationship-building on Wednesday nights, junior high small groups, Life Groups, and at least one camp or retreat per year.

Point Leader
A Point Leader is responsible for leading a Life Group and Adult Leaders to great spiritual maturity. Responsibilities include attending Wednesday services, leading a healthy and growing Life Group, coaching other Adult Leaders, and participating in camps and retreats throughout the year.

Life Group Host Home
A Life Group host agrees to open their home to a small group of students and leaders two Sundays per month for a year (June–June).

Sunday School Teacher
A Sunday School Teacher leads or assists a Sunday morning student group for one session (8–12 weeks). He or she chooses the curriculum and has it approved by the Paradigm pastors.

Prayer Team Member  
A Prayer Team member receives monthly emails containing student ministry prayer requests. He or she is dedicated to praying daily for the needs and direction of Paradigm Student Ministries. Occasionally the Prayer Team will meet on during events or the senior high service on Wednesday nights to pray together.
